My dad was in immigration enforcement before ICE. Farmers would pay workers on Friday for a week's work. Many farmers would call Border Patrol or INS on Thursday night or Friday morning so they could stiff the workers on payment.

Our problem is the number of those is a *lot* higher than we would have guessed in 2016. And their willingness to spend*hours* defending everything to people who are not watching the news because they have to work 60 hours and looks after their family..
