I hadn't noticed that myself, always interesting though to spot influences. If indeed there is a touch of religion there, Lewis Goodall's style is perhaps a little more evangelical than CofE.

Interesting article. Lewis Goodall has a very noticeable style of writing / speaking doesn't he. He loves Anaphora, the "rule of three" and "climax" in his use of words. In this case the repetition of "Here was / is a vice president..." Often makes him sound like he's giving a sermon.

The Electoral Commission recommends STV. The Jenkins Commission recommended AV+ (constituency MPs selected via AV, and a second vote for additional MPs added to give a more proportional result)

So many of the programmes from the mid 80s really capture something. The kind of overgrown bleakness that was so ubiquitous back then.

I think there's a certain type of person whose main preoccupation seems to be to drum up clicks by being perpetually and obsessively angry. It's exhausting isn't it. I ended up un following a lot of accounts.
