He definitely does, I think he has the talent. But he lacks the experience to lead a blockbuster like gladiator 2. If you look at the films Crowe did before gladiator, they are very different to the films Mescal has done

That’s really one of the few criticisms I agree with, compared to the rest of the cast. Mescal was the weakest actor by far.
