50% is nothing. Most likely all products will increase to about 200% in the next 3 months and if nothing happens another 100% in the months after that. That being said prices already increased during previous admin. So, yeah the US citizens are about to probably have the worst time of their lives 😔

Whenever I worked the reason they did that is because the people who ran the place wanted to have final say on said thing. So you run havoc on the creative decision making team in order to create insecurity on who actually makes decisions. Therefore creating internal bad politics. Thoughts? (4/4)

When you slam the art director tag onto everyone, there is complete chaos when it comes to decision making, and its all about that, fuck politics you can have vertical decision making but you should almost always trust someone to have the final ok. This is where it gets funny…(3/4)

Let me elaborate, art director is someone who’s by design is directing a team of people towards a common artistic goal. You can enable your team however you want, that’s beside the point. You can also have a head art director which depending on the case you could also call brand director (2/4)

I think their mistake is that they truly believe they can get away with it, and people still live in the ‘00s. Where I live, they are using AI for show posters, and it’s ridiculous, they don’t even mod it enough to claim it as their own.

Still a client though? Its a power dynamic thing. There are people who are understanding in this world, fortunately… but unfortunately i feel like since I opened up shop this world teaches me that you have to be protective of you first because there are people out there trying to get you constantly

I would say that the best thing you can do is side start something that you find helpful for other people while trying to reverse the harm that its been done, all that while you continue to so the above things, until eventually you can raise a huge middle finger and be happy for your thing! 🤘

All of those things were fine until, they became the norm. Now adobe can charge what they want and you have to agree to absurd terms and conditions to even uninstall said suite. Talk about the darkest of patterns. Things have taken a very bad turn, wishing the pre-facebook era back!

As a UI designer who also likes to develop things as a hobby, the best thing someone without UI background can do is to use UI libraries. Ready-made components, then check out examples built by those who put out these products.
That’s what I would suggest a junior UI designer should tackle it. so…😎
