Perhaps, but what’s done is done. Is the alternative to vote a dem OUT?? For me, that’s a no. I’m going to hope that the guy who is in the room has a different perspective than me. That’s how I will try not to lose my mind.

I disagree. Midterms are the long game. We’re going to have to take it by baby steps now, unfortunately, and as frustrating as that may be.

this way maybe they build some bridges in their state to stay in office and come midterms, maybe we garner a few more seats to swing the pendulum blue. I’m trying to think big picture.

Could the big picture be that the Dems who voted for her are looking at the long game. If they come from purple states, perhaps this is a way to lay groundwork to be reelected by looking moderate. She was going to be confirmed anyway…
