Ds haven't been winning at the state levels. It's why so many state legislatures are Red. And if Trump gets them to not certify in 2029 they win we lose. Another bad D slogan - Occupy Wall St. Total lack of defense to ACA Death Panels. You want to know why Ds lose? Because their messaging sucks.

They lost seats at local/state/congressional levels because people didn't want to lose police in their cities. Rs used it against them, just like they used BLM vs All "Lives matter" previously against them. Dems are terrible at creating slogans and Rs always use it against them.

I hate to rain reality but the House Dems lost 13 seats in 2020. They held 235 in 2018 and went down to only 222 seats. The Senate was 50/50 after adding 2 special elections in Jan from GA. The point I was making to the other poster is that the slogan of 'Defund the Police' was detrimental for Dems

There are 213 Democrats in the House. They won't get any Republicans much less 5 until at least after they've gotten past any primary challenges.

Those Rs say no - until they are the ones ICE kills. ICE chasing Door Dash into someone's house - could've been them ordering food. ICE shooting someone in a moving car could kill them in the path or in a car that gets hit. They could be caught in a car chase, they could be walking past protests.

Sorry but there's some misinformation that needs to be corrected here. ICE is authorized to operate everywhere. You are talking about the Border Patrol who are suppose to operate within range of a border. They are 2 different agencies inside the DHS.

I never called them law enforcement they are immigration enforcement; but, just an FYI it's Border Patrol that is suppose to operate at the borders. ICE is a different agency under the DHS.

62.6% of taxpayers received a refund averaging $3,167 last year. I'm sure the government wouldn't complain not refunding, but if you don't pay owed they will garnish you. I've never held a job where taxes weren't auto deducted by my employer. The only option is simple manipulation of your W-4 form.

So it's working. Read beyond the headlines, they had a whole report. Frankly, I'll be happy when I don't have to send multiple emails every week of atrocities committed by the administration, or watching for protests to join. Until then I let them know I disapprove.

So it's working. Read beyond the headlines, they had a whole report. Frankly, I'll be happy when I don't have to send multiple emails every week of atrocities committed by the administration, or watching for protests to join. Until then I let them know I disapprove.

The same year when so many state and local races flipped red? Increased state Gov to R +1 with 27-R V 23-B. Rs gained 75 state legislative seats. Rs controlled 30 state legislatures. Rs gained many state chambers like the NH state House. 2020 is why we are fighting gerrymandering and regressive laws

I really would like to know whether the militia members are also current government employees. Because when I was working in the DoD you would not get/keep your security clearance if you had an affiliation with a militia.

Because horror movies rarely win awards except sometimes for special effects - not even the vampire ones. I was surprised it was nominated. They also completely snubbed Nosferatu in 2024 which ended up nominated for 4 Oscars, 5 BAFTAs and a number of others (it didn't win though).

Are we buying them from Ukraine - because their drones are awesome? Totally kicking Russia's butt with them. Maybe Trump can make a deal with them - end the war there and get a few drones from them?

Normal is pretty relative. Wild eggplant was (is) smaller, golf ball sized and green or yellow in color. They are bitter and had little use in food. It was selective breeding several thousand years ago that developed the purple or white varieties.

It began long before Rittenhouse. They also glorified George Zimmerman for standing his ground when he murdered Trayvon Martin in 2012... 4 cops beating Rodney King in 1992, and consistently for centuries they supported "us" when killing "them".

Words like hypocrisy and irony have lost all influence under Republicans. They just don't produce an adequate effect because of overuse. We need new words to use. Maybe hypocrony - defined as the ultimate use of both hypocrisy and irony?

So the Smithsonian is no longer a museum then? Real museums only include factual evidenced displays. The Louvre wouldn't have a fake Van Gogh. They are now just an amusement park without the rides. Too bad. Next they'll replace the Natural History museum with The Ark park.
