sounds like it! never managed to see when they appeared in MD - now that i am retired, should have more flexibility. but people go nuts so i also do not want to stress the owls. will never report owl sightings to e-bird.

haha yep - literally jumped and screamed walking a trail (i think Maine) and a grouse of some sorts did it's thing
