Tori Amos, little earthquakes, when the album was turned into the record label they wanted to replace the piano with electric guitars, huge fight about that. She hated the string arranger‘s parts that label had hired. Got a bottle of tequila locked the studio door and told the engineer “erase” 😅

Yes, there‘s often interesting stories around debuts. Jagged Little Pill, recorded then shopped, got turned down by every major record label. Then Madonna’s small Maverick label signed Alanis M. Maverick only had maybe 8 other artists on their roster. Biggest selling debut of all time for many years

Atm this guy is fighting to prevent a one time 5% tax on billionaires in California, “vowed” to prevent it. In 2021 universal healthcare for CA passed, was ready to go, it was voted on and put on Newsom’s desk, he vetoed it. He is not our guy, I say this as a Californian. We need to keep looking

Corporate shills are exactly why we are here right now. Newsom has no chance. First of all the right despises him and second of all, Californians like me, and many Dems in general, know exactly who he is and won’t vote for him either. We need a baggage free candidate, who’s a fresh face
