I may have to resign in disgrace now. Or at the very least copy the definition of a lectern from a dictionary a few times as penance.

In the theme of town halls, if you feel like you live in an area that often gets overlooked, then let me know and I’ll see what we can do to remedy that. Everyone deserves to be heard.

Thank you so much for supporting those in need here in Maine! Strong communities are essential to making it through these tough times. I will add your donation to my list for matching. Thanks again!

The county committee in the area might organize an event with all the candidates, but I’m not sure if the Maine Dems state level group will do any others. It’s a bit early to tell though. It’s likely that other larger events with all candidates won’t be until early next year.

I’m not sure about any other similar events that the Maine Dems will put on, but many county level committees appear to be planning events for early next year that involve all the candidates. So one certainly might end up in or around Bangor. No guarantees though.

Yeah, I would admittedly much prefer a simple potluck kind of event, but I really need to take every chance I can to reach more folks. I had to go to formal events as an Army officer here and there, so at least I’m used to it to some extent. Been using the same suit for like a decade now heh

Forgot to address the other point: I don't believe the false narrative being spread by the other side that non-citizens are somehow voting and "undermining" our elections. That is not my concern here.

younger generations instead of continually running for office. I've said as much publicly before. My proposal inserts a mandatory gap after two terms that helps accomplish this. But voters still get a say. If they really liked a previous senator, then they might vote for them again in the future. /5

elected by their state.

Under my proposal, King would not have been allowed to run for re-election in this last cycle. I do believe that senators must be able to pass physical and mental assessments periodically while serving as well. Personally I agree that older generations should mentor (4/5)

On the other question, I believe that no senator should be able to serve more than two consecutive terms at a time. Your question seems to focus more on age than term limits. After all, even if we set the most draconian of absolute term limits to one term, an 81 or 72 year old could still be (3/5)

more external forces are going to try and cast doubt on the integrity of our elections. If we can prepare for that with additional measures (that must be equitable) then we should. These IDs could also potentially open the door for easier voting with voting options similar to what Estonia uses.(2/5)

As you've seen, I have pretty strict requirements for any form of Voter ID law. And one key requirement is that it would be phased in starting with new generations of voters. As someone who works in security, defense in depth is going to be necessary as we venture into a future where more and (1/5)

I jumped into the comments on another post to volunteer or suggest one of the other candidates like David Costello since he was polling a bit higher given his past experience as a Dem nominee against Angus King. We shall see!

To be fair though, I have never done much thorough research into all the flavors as I've never had truly specialized workflows. If I was an SRE or SWE, I would probably have a far more nuanced take.

I didn't really use Linux systems until college when I started my CS degree. But I would say I pretty quickly ended up with a VM running Ubuntu. I've used it for a bit over a decade now.

ParrotOS was, for me, an upgrade from Kali Linux. I used it mostly for Hack the Box stuff for a few years.

I’ve used ParrotOS and Ubuntu quite a bit which are both Debian based. They generally get the job done.

There was a time many years ago when I used Fedora quite a bit as well. Been a bit since I checked back in on RHEL now though.

Certainly, but I also acknowledge that there is a weird marketing bias in politics for House candidates to use “For Congress” and Senate candidates to be specific in saying “For Senate”

Not sure when that trend started, but it seems pretty common.
November 13, 2025 at 5:03 PM
A lot of people in Maine are frustrated that these two are the only ones getting coverage when there are other candidates. Plus there are a ton of undecided voters. Consider having David Costello or myself or the other responsive candidates on as well. Mainers would appreciate it.
November 13, 2025 at 4:05 PM
Yeah, we really need to focus on replacing Susan Collins. I try to share all the candidates names here and there because I want someone that Mainers want to support to win. Certainly I’ll be disappointed if it isn’t me, but this race is far more important than my ego.
