On a sudden whim, I emailed a classmate from middle school. Still no reply.

I’ve realized that I’m addicted to the dopamine rush in my brain. To distance myself from it, I tried to read books, listen to music, and watch TV dramas instead of using my smartphone as much as possible this weekend. Though I don’t feel any effects yet, I’ll keep up this habit next week.

Now,the Rising Sun—the company guarding Tsukuba University and known by students as such—is also guarding the Tsukuba Express Line. Which essentially makes it part of the Tsukuba University area (well, not really).

Last working day of 2024. Enjoyed fine Japanese rice wines (知可良, 冩樂, etc.) and Suruga Bay Imperial IPA. It was a great night!

Took the day off to see the Takahashi Ryutaro collection of contemporary Japanese art. Incredible variety and quality! Left feeling so inspired!
