Adobe making a great example that using proprietary software anywhere in your development is a massive liability, even if you fork over buckets of money. Why should people invest time and money learning your software if you just do this with no recourse.

you ever play a game and just sorta get stun-locked by how hard of a read it has on you & you're scared of playing more because you know it'll be the only time you're playing it for the first time (plus the game's other funny ways of making me scared of playing it)
