My students (no CS background) designed AI-integrated lessons and now teaching in the class. Today, a group did an activity where their students would read and acknowledge a form of responsible use of AI, then would use a peer-tutor for math activities. I am super proud of them.

I think I am going to cry. My students, who were terrified of 3D design and coding greatly, have just designed and coded their first game!! I love these kids!

I am super excited! Our team (with Dr. Ali Biçer, Dr. Donggil Song, and Dr. Lee Pinnell) received another internal grant for our project: Artificial Intelligence Mentorship for Rural Education (AIM4Rural). The grant: 2025 EMERGE Grant Program, evaluated by an external team and the award is $49,376.

I didn't spend this much time on my dissertation as I've spent working on this manuscript. I think it is cursed, and highly possible that it will bring zombie apocalypse or something if published somehow 😁😁

From ISLS 2024 Early Career Workshop - One of the most amazing experiences for me as a scholar. I interacted with and became friends with amazing emerging stars in the field and learned from the superstars. I consider myself super lucky to be part of this cohort!

When I was a student, I used to dream about taking exams unprepared. Since I became a faculty, I dream about going to class unprepared. Regardless of the role shift in my dreams, anxious student is always an anxious student 😁

Today our puppy had eye surgery. Suddenly our older dog became super aggressive towards him. Any recommendations? They are both pugs.
