Well, no, and they're closing only a speculated 300 of about 5000, but your own speculation jumps to conclusions. They did mention obsolete locations, that would affect margin, surely, but they could also be closing very profitable locations that will require big cap to keep. Your comment was crass.

Nothing in the article says that that is the situation. Specifically though, the article mentioned it's competitors meal deals. Wendy's is losing on their price increases.

Will court decisions hold them in check? Will new elections in 2026 and 2028 offer a solution? I certainly hope so, on both counts. But it's not unthinkable anymore that they won't, and that is worth thinking about very seriously.

You're defending a nazi tattoo, regardless if it's ironically or rhetorically, that's what you're doing.

Why is the same scrutiny not applied to the GOP? How has their plutocratic agenda advanced the interests of their supposedly working-class base? Trump’s major legislative achievement of his first term was a tax cut skewed heavily to the rich. His domestic policy this term is no better for workers.

The purpose of corporations too; spread risk among shareholders, but like 100 board members over a half-dozen investment companies control most of the market. Wealth/power consolidation is the world's #1 threat.
