Yeah it's taken all I have to have kept that word out of that tweet lol

(I'm gonna keep using Twitter terminology I don't see why not lol)

I also block unnecessary cookies (as per each site's own things) but I'm sure some have crept by me somehow. Is there a way to clear it? I guess wipe cookies would do it?

Yeah I'd been wanting to try it for a long time after having stopped playing netrunner (despite still loving it), hadn't had the chance to. Then recently found someone to play with and we've been blasting through it. Best campaign game I've enjoyed so far. But damn it's pricy 😅

Oh this is relevant because Arkham Horror LCG feels like it shares some DNA with netrunner (without renaming hand and deck etc lol) and is, to me, a fun medium between mechanics and narrative in a campaign format that's about exploring and experience more than reading long expositions.

... As well as being an overly competitive game that required a whole ass scene to play. Arkham Horror LCG has been a great adventure game for me with twists and turns, character and mechanics. Happy with Netdecking so I don't have to think about deck construction too much. Recommended.

Thanks everyone for being part of another great meetup! Was heartening to see all the games setup and getting plays Didn't get around to demoing my deckbuilder but honestly I was tired and lazy Have a good festive season and see you in Feb!

Sigh, the problem is that social media is has just moved on from going to specific destinations. Everyone is used to all-in-one destinations.

And also noone wants to do the upkeep :(

Oh oops yeah I misread your "tweet" 😅 yeah the community is a bit difficult to navigate. I do wish something more like the forums existed. There's a forum functionality on discord now but I dunno how useful that would be since i don't think it's indexed by Google 🤷‍♂️
November 1, 2023 at 10:32 AM
Yeah it's unfortunate that the forum isn't getting updated, the burnout of social medias (way too many) is real. Physics Jam had happened already, here are details & winners: itch.io/jam/physics-...

Don't think SA Game Jam is ongoing. I can't recall. But my memory is fallible :p

At best, it's an arms race between those peddling their wares and those consuming. At worse, too many of the consumers just don't care.

It's like the eternal push/pull between full anarchy vs governance. It's never perfect for everyone because there's no such thing as perfect when it comes to "everyone".
