Yeah, obviously, Microsoft is a PC company. The Xbox brand was always home consoles, though. Xbox will still be dead if Xboxes stop being made. They can keep using the brand name, but it'd be in name only. I'm not sure what you're arguing here.

Xbox never used to be a pc gaming company? It was built around PC components but was always a home console. If Microsoft decides to shift away from consoles and focus exclusively on PC, then Xbox as a console would be dead, regardless of whether they slap the name on any of the services.
