Following the fire alarm last night, we wanted to send out a quick reminder regarding cooking and smoke.
When cooking in your apartment, please utilize both the vent fan (on the bottom of the microwave) and your apartment windows to ventilate any possible smoke. Do not open your front door while cooking. Not only does this send any food smells into the hallway, but any smoke that escapes into the main hallway will set off the fire alarm for the entire building.
Should the fire alarms go off and the building is evacuated, please keep the alleyway clear for emergency vehicles to enter. Do not block the alleyway with cars and please walk to the sidewalks to keep the path accessible.

I "finished" Shapez 2 last night and I have to say, I don't think I have ever been hooked on a factory game like this before. Absolutely amazing game. I didn't particularly like the game's relative simplicity at first but it easily became one of its strongest attributes. 11/10 I will play it again.

Electrical short in the fire alarm system caused a building wide evac at 3am tonight. Not the most fun standing in the rain waiting for the fire department to clear the building. I did get to meet a lot of my neighbors though

Went out to the Vegas strip during my massive layover in Vegas. I saw the giant sphere screen and it's honestly more impressive in person. It was pretty cool to watch for a bit.
