We're not in the business of making people SICK! We have other ways of providing that book. They may have to wait a little longer while I buy new ones, or we get it through ILL.

Dear people: I understand that you want to give "good service." I get it. And I understand that many of you LOVE BOOKS SOOOOOO MUCH that you can't bear to get rid of any at all. Ever.

BUT, if a book is "disgusting and moldy" and you give that to a patron, I will haunt you while alive.

A B&N rep contacted me, and some of my coworkers, today to step into the Baker and Taylor gap and I’m kinda amused. To her credit, she’s reached out before so it wasn’t a complete cold call. But still, i didn’t know any retailers, other than amazon, was interested.
