Your mention about reference photos for Cyclopean made me think about when I visited Yehliu Geopark in Taiwan. The volcanic rock formations looked like alien landscapes, really cool.

At college, I had a part-time job at the Campus Media Center. It was 1999, just before everything migrated to digital media. I would set up all kinds of stuff for lectures: film projectors, slides, laser discs, VHS camcorders. The tech was fiddly at times, but had a satisfying 'weight' to it.
