How was this not the end of his campaign?

(Oh right, there a lot of idiots, bigots, racists, misogynists, and assholes in this country.)

Until Trump dragged his idiotic asshole supporters out from under their rocks it was possible to be at least a little idealistic and optimistic that the good will, in the end, outweigh the bad. Trump and his idiotic asshole supporters have taken that idealism and optimism away. I hate them for that.

If you support Trump, it is not some personal choice the rest of us should respect or avoid criticizing. It reflects profound stupidity, or blatant assholery, the consequences of which are borne by everyone. You deserve every bit of scorn and condemnation coming to you. And it will come to you.

Trump’s election proves that a slim majority of the voting public are stupid, or assholes, or both.

Trump is an unrepentant convicted criminal. Those who voted for him, broligrachs who now curry favor with him, and media who normalized him have shown definitively that they do not give a shit about the rule of law. They have no right to expect the law to protect them if they are victims of crime.

There are no excuses.

Anyone who did not see from the beginning that Trump is and always has been an ignorant, dishonest, self-centered, racist, bigoted, dangerous, grifting criminal fraud is an idiot.

Anyone who knew all that and, for any reason, voted for him anyway is an asshole.
