You are ignoring that many white republican men would love to have sex with high school girls. The more details they get about Gaetz' creep'n, the more they'll idolize him and say he's their guy.

Sure, Gaetz alleged sexual misconduct is fresher, but America has already seen this kind of stuff and determined it wasn't unqualifying (unless you are a Democratic nominee).

What he meant is that he doesn't CARE about Project 2025. He didn't read it. He won't read it. He only cares about loyalty. He wants to do what he wants to do, irrespective of Project 2025. He'd rather say that everything he does is HIS idea, even if it's enacted via Project 2025 instructions.

Trump promised them a revenge tour. Trump implicitly promised them they could be cruel, small minded narcissists. There's no question in my mind they voted for him because he's the person they would be given the chance and the power.
