We’ve been busy organising sports-based after-school clubs behind the scenes and either today or tomorrow @tvijames.bsky.social and I will get something out to our KS1 families on ParentMail.

Thank you to all the adults who came over the last couple of days to discuss their careers! We had a bus driver, a content creator, a zoo keeper, a midwife, a nurse, cyber security, Deputy headteacher and a civil servant! Lots of inspired children! @tvinfants.bsky.social

Today I’ve been hearing children read in Year 2, and will be doing so all week. It’s a good opportunity to double-check in on their progress and to make sure they’re on the correct book band. Our Year 2 are doing well. Please help too by reading with your child each night for 5-10 minutes.

All week in assembly we’ve been reading our favourite books for World Book Day. Tomorrow we ask our children to come dressed up as their favourite storybook characters. We’re doing a special assembly tomorrow about it, led by James!
