In the past few days, NOW Music have made a Eurovision countdown programme to coincide with the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest of 2025. It includes Duncan James from Blue fronting, with initial and further airings on NOW 80s and NOW 90s & 00s.

Rick Buckler, drummer of The Jam, sadly passed away on the 17th at the age of 69. NOW 80s has been running tribute programs throughout the day as well as late last night.

If MTV downgraded their audio bitrate of their two main music channels to 128kb/s over the past few years, I wonder how long it'll be until they're broadcasting in Mono with a 4:3 aspect ratio 😂

According to someone at Sky, That's TV will be on Sky Glass on Channel 171. I'm currently at University so I can't directly check this. If anyone else with Sky Glass could confirm this it would be great.

Vinyl isn't the answer for ultra high-quality audio, but there is something about taking an LP out of a huge album sleeve, the effort of cleaning the record, setting the needle down and listening the entire way through that pressing a play button on a screen can't match.

Some news outlets are reporting that 40 extra channels will be launching to Sky Glass, so it looks highly likely that That's TV 1-3 and Oldies, Melody and Dance will be included in this... As for the other 34 channels we will wait and see!

That's TV has been removed from the 'TV channels not currently available on Sky Glass or Sky Stream' list. The channels were not on this morning when I checked so I will have a look when I get back tonight. The list also suggests that Eurosport has been removed from Sky Glass.

Sky has today revealed Sky Glass Gen 2 (available from tomorrow) and Sky Glass Air (available later this year).
Sky Entertainment OS is becoming Sky OS, enhanced soundbar and better viewing angles on Gen 2.
Prices remain the same as Gen 1,

At this point, why don't they just switch MTV Hits UK for MTV Hits Europe? They're both using the same playlist, MTV Hits Europe has no adverts, and an audio bitrate of 256 kB/s compared to the absolutely terrible sounding (almost unlistenable for music) 128 kB/s we get here.
