@volkswagenuk.bsky.social I've just had the extreme misfortune to be given a new Touran as a hire car. Why do I have to download an app, make an account, sign in in the car and start some sort of contract just to use Android Auto? I've had Minis, BMWs, Suzukis, even MGs before without this nonsense.

@octopus.energy 1st time I've screenshot it but I'm getting bored of this 'bait and switch' behaviour of Kraken. Planned to charge the house battery when the car charge was planned to start. With no warning it re-plans and leaves the house running on full price electric for the rest of the evening.
