@BBCNewsNI The concluding montage on @bbcnewsline tonight is, I think, one of the most moving and heartbreaking things I’ve ever watched. I’m not often lost for words, but I don’t even know how to conclude this post. #omagh

QOTD from my seaside home town: a family of dryrobe-clad weekenders, all four children on scooters, barrel towards me. One girl slips from her scooter. 🛴
“Mia! Stop falling in your dryrobe! If you put a hole in it, I’m not buying you a new one!”
Ah, half term…

Did anyone else cry at the #StrictlyComeDancing documentary?
When it started, I used to watch it with my Mum and Dad. I don’t have them with me anymore. One of the last things my Mum said to me, deep In Alzheimer’s, was ‘Nice to see you: to see you, nice’. Thank you @bbcstrictly

My first post here, and it simply has to be about books.
I’m reading The Proof Of My Innocence, by @jonathancoe.bsky.social, this weekend. So far (I’m about halfway through), it’s made me laugh, cry, stop and say ‘oh my god’, and helped me to truly lose myself in reading. Wonderful.
