In 2026 I’d like to finally play the Yakuza/Like a Dragon games. At least a few of them! I loved Yakuza 7 and been meaning to play 0 and the others since. So yeah here’s my wish for 2026: at least finish Yakuza 0, and possibly the Kiwamis 🤜🏼🤛🏼

I think Zeiss is my favourite city to spend time in in Trails in the Sky FC

Playing through Dragon Quest 3 and Monster Hunter Stories is making me realize how the most important aspect for me in a JRPG is the plot AND music
Both these games are pretty weak in these 2 aspects and are carried instead by their gameplay and visuals, which makes them just okay to me, 7/10 games

I think my problem with the Game Awards is that you have cinematic trailers shown, then Geoff is like “Wow doesn’t that look great.. ok next!”
You don’t have the devs telling you about the game, and if they do they’re super careful and vague. Then we don’t hear about it for years. (1/2)

Not really involved in my gaming lately. Since I finished Kingdom Hearts and Unlimited Blade Works I’ve played several games for a bit but nothing really sticks, even Trails in the Sky is not hitting right now (it’s not you it’s me kinda thing, the game is wonderful)

Beautiful gorgeous and fun combat and leveling up but the lackluster story/characters/dialogue is hard to love. It’s probably one of those games I’m gonna have to push through and breathe a sigh of relief when I finish it
