Dinner was amazing, y'all. I'm so grateful to have @foodmksmehappy.bsky.social , who is the best sister, also be the most wonderful chef.
A Thanksgiving meal is shown on fine china with a light grey pattern, sitting on a white tablecloth. I set the table. @foodmksmehappy.bsky.social chose the linens, and she created the flower centerpieces.

This past weekend, we moved @ladystorytelling.com out of a pretty full 10'x10' storage unit (pic 1) and into a half-full U-box for shipping (pic 2). This downsizing brought to you by a shit ton of donating, repacking, rope, tape, and a trip to the landfill.

Good news calls for really good champagne. Celebrating @ladystorytelling.com's good news with @foodmksmehappy.bsky.social and a bottle of Taittinger.

Apparently one of the food pairings for champagne is popcorn, making the choice of vessel to chill the bottle particularly apropos. 😆

Finished! Kept the old basin and the wheel/axle had been replaced a few years back. The metal structure got a fresh coat of black spray paint, and new handles. All of this because one of the axle brackets was bent to fuck. Still, about half the cost of a brand new one.

Fresh 'do!

I used a kneeling pad from Home Depot and some Velcro straps to make a cushion for my porch stool. It's a lot more comfy when sitting or resting my legs on it. It's a bit janky on the left but that's okay by me.
A teak stool with a black foam pad on the top. The pad is strapped to the stool using black Velcro cord wraps which have been threaded through holes in the top of the pad.

We went with the penny tile just to have visual interest in them. I'm glad you noticed!

We didn't have a small towel bar or hooks up on the wall for our hand towels, and it's been causing problems. We had a surplus floating shelf on hand, and after I suggested putting one in our bathroom, @foodmksmehappy.bsky.social had the idea to turn it into a place to hang towel hooks.
