The goals of Apple have moved away from the consumer. The Apple tax has very real societal implications.

Costs of these taxes include: reduced innovation, lack of privacy, and increased software and hardware prices. Not just for Apple users either.

This isn't just some regular loser. It's the President of the United States who has been judged to file frivolous suits.

When will Alina Habba be disbarred? If she doesn't face additional sanctions above the $1M penalty, she'll simply do it again.

I am alarmed at the level people allow big tech and the government to spy on them. This article talks about international networks, but also applies to personal technology and US citizens. I have started moving (where I can) to local, privacy focused, software.

Democrats need to get on the free trade train. My fear - no matter what happens in next year’s elections - is that whoever remains in congress will keep the disastrous tarrifs in place.

You might think, “Well not all tarrifs are bad.” You are wrong.

Cory Doctorow makes a lot of sense in his criticism of American big tech. He makes me excited about Mastodon again.

But there are problems. Why is Cory still on X? By participating in big tech, he falls short of practicing what he preaches.
