If that is true then maybe all sports need to have “classes”, like boxing, so that physically equal humans are competing against one another. (*That was sarcasm*) Seriously tho, thank you for your responses. I will continue to research and learn more.

All I really have on this issue is a belief that men in women’s sports is wrong and unfair to women. Even so, I’m frustrated with how the right uses it to stir up fear and votes. I’m just seeking to learn and to know more so I do have more than just an opinion.

We may have to agree to disagree on this. Regardless of the terms, there’s a clear difference physically between men and women. And it’s unfair to women to allow men in their sports.

Honestly I haven’t. As I stated in an earlier response, this did seem like a political issue but now I know more based on the information you’ve given me and so I will do more research. And this will help me argue better with those people who are purely voting for Trump because of this issue.

I don’t think government should decide who gets to play. I know it’s all complicated. I just think that the one thing that should be simple is to say that it’s not right for bio men to compete with bio women.

Like so many other issues there’s lots of misinformation and misconceptions on this that the extremes tap into for political gain. I think I need to do more research. I appreciate your clear responses.

Thanks for the reply. I understand the extremes of threats from both parties regarding this issue. I’m just wondering how does a party or a politician reach reasonable ground for this for people so that they aren’t voting for one party or the other simply because of this one issue.

But a serious question - should a biological male compete with biological women in sports? I am not a Trump supporter. My support is driven by the issues and on this issue I believe the Democrats are wrong and is a big reason why so many conservative centrists voted for Trump. (RTR btw!)

And if you read the actual history of the gift of the Statue of Liberty you realize the artist raised money in France and the US to fund it. More of a joint effort than a straight up gift. History matters!!
