When the Dark Lord died with no heirs, a decision was made by the Arch Sorcerers of the Dark Elf civilization, to elect a new hereditary king. One they could all agree upon...

That new Dark Lord? Who else but the gnome!

I stumbled upon this legend when I noticed a Gnomish Dark Lord.

After a dozen years, this gnome took on a false identity, freeing himself from shackles but remaining in the Dark Elf civilization.

As time went on, he established deep friendships with multiple Dark Elf politicians, who were quite cold to eachother but loved the gnome.

Dwarf Fortress, but about modded Gnomes and Dark Elves in Legends mode.

Gnomes are especially friendly, as well as very good liars.
Dark Elves are slavers, and have poor socials.

One gnome (a particularly skillful liar) had been enslaved by the Dark Elves as a child after his home was ransacked.

I'd recommend to check the DLL mods listed, and disabling all that haven't been updated in 2024.

For outdated fan favorites, you may often find an updated 2024 DLL in the Nexus comments (or on other sites).

Good luck! Hope you get your modded Skyrim working flawlessly for the winter season.

At the bottom of your log is a list of DLL files, which are all from mods that depend on SKSE. These all must be maintained to the specific SKSE version released Jan 2024.

I find that many SKSE-dependent "fixes" have not been maintained to the 2024 SKSE and now are ironically the cause of crashes.

With Elin, Noa has returned to working on his original creative project. Now with beautiful isometric pixel art, as well as more of a 'homesteading' gameplay focus.

Both Elona and Elona+ received English translations made popular on 4chan as well as several forums. I first heard about it on the Bay12 Forums.

It was known for the humorous insanity of its game mechanics. Players of Dwarf Fortress were right at home with some of the goofy roguelike interactions.

Elin is the continuation of Elona, a project by Japanese developer Lafrontier who first released the roguelike in 2007.

After making Elona's source code available, the project was continued as Elona+ by Ano, who released several continents and expanded his fork of the game.
