The OQE is going to be intense with so many great nations/teams in the field. Curling fans should be into it, even if Canada isnt there competing

.The finals begin Friday with Game 1, Saturday is Game 2 and, if needed, Sunday will be the deciding Game 3

Remember, the 2 winners will advance to the Olympic Qualification Event in Kelowna in December to try and secure a spot in the 2026 Winter Olympic field

Agreed!! The US Open of Curling as a slam event in MN has potential ti be amazing....but ive been saying that for how many years now and 🤷‍♂️

There sure where ALOT of men's teams who declined their invite for sure. There has to be a bit of a political reasoning behind those decisions

I wouldnt want to risk any travel to the US right now. I wont be going south until the dorito isnt in charge and happy not to support them until then too

Thats what it looked like. It seemed there were mostly volunteers and people who were invited to be there by the GSOC rather than actial curling fans. It looked very sad.

Japan and Korea could certainly host slams. I think it can still work in the US too just with better scheduling/location
