They admitted that he would have been de-selected if he'd raised it before the Olympics. As for the bike and kit - far from the leading edge these days and commercially available to anyone. Sounds more like a "sour grapes" story than attempted IP theft.

Maybe we (Aus) should pay contracted athletes a living wage? Besides which, I'm sure the "Emma Factor" played a role in the decision making process.
