I feel like the 4.2 shared the flares? Or was at least broader than standard. I really wanted one with the fat 5 spoke wheels.

Just a thought from today - how much we owe Zak Brown and Andres Stella for having the confidence to let them race. Without that bravery, this season might well have been sewn up months ago. Bravo to them.

Although I should add that it fascinates me that most places where wealthy folks gather are in fact walkable and person, not car, -centric.

I think this all the time. Double garage with house attached.

I suppose for a nation that loves a strip mall more than a walk down Main Street it makes sense.

I’m sure McLaren pleased to see the rest of the Red Bull herd pretty far back.

How much extra was it to have the cricket ball embedded in the grille like that…?

As someone who grew up with the metric system and now grapples with Fahrenheit, the best explanation I’ve heard is that F is “% hot for a human”. i.e. 75F is 75% hot, 100F is really as hot as a human should be. 0F = no chance…

As someone who would love to see a new champion this year, it’s hard not to have your money on Max. To paraphrase Jeff Goldblum, “Max… finds a way”

I’m using the Ottocast mini cube which is quite a neat solution.

But it’s not quite that simple is it. $40bn to Argentina, $75bn on ICE, $40bn “saved” by Elon putting USAID into the chipper. These are all choices - and 60% of the Ukraine budget is spent in the US. No one in the US starving because of Ukraine.

I loved that design. Such a shame it was so short-lived.

Seems to be missing a small but vital component there…

I’m not overly keen on retro designs but arguably the Ami should have come like this from the factory!

Yikes…

I’ve got a hankering to put a Yamaha V8 in the back of a C30 (a la Renault Clio V6) but maybe it would need a companion piece…

Wow, that’s perfect isn’t it. Although I’ve always loved shooting brakes, and especially the Z4M bread van so I might be biased!

That’s excellent work isn’t it.

Lovely! Bet that’s a joy to drive. Plus the window hatch is oddly pleasing to use.

The down side is that the children get tired from shovelling quite quickly though

Lovely looking thing. I had the same touring in silver but 330d.

I always think the slight irony of visiting an F1 race is that’s it’s a not a great way to actually watch “the race”. Epic in a thousand other ways instead but you still need to go home and watch to find out what happened!
