After NAIHF (1996) they signed a bew 5-album deal with WBros that Bill Berry walked away from after they started recording their next album 2yrs later (not 8) in 1998. The 5th album in that contract was released in 2011, which was their true/planned swansong.

Riding high of mention of Soulwax on Tuesday, I was elated to hear a reference to my formative band, the one that got me into music proper, REM... only to be disappointed that Jason managed to get so many facts wrong and misrepresent the timeline to throw undue shade. Yes, this is all I care about 🙃

REM solved it in 1986 with the song Fall On Me. Took a while, and Homer Simpson lost a good jacket, but we got there in the end!

I mean, the whole format is based on the tabletop game "Werewolf", which I believe already has a Seer role. I predict the whole thing will be more like "Ultimate Werewolf" within a few years and everyone will have a custom role. Surprised the US version didn't go straight there.

Such admiration for Robbie. Crying on the way to work isn't usually how I make a positive start to my day, but the journey of his story trough the episode was as inspiring as it was heart-breaking. Thank you both for putting these experiences across so well.

I knew/hoped you were talking about Mark Cousins right from the start of that section. I also have great memories of him introducing that films that I watched a teen at the time, such as The Fly and Raising Cain, and other films I'll always link to him. The film critic for the Xenial generation!

I think Rye stole all the quaint beauty and sense of serene joy from the rest of 1066 County, although every shop in Battle being called "Battle..." (Jewelers, Computers, etc) is quite delightful.
