Call your U.S. Senator’s office (the office in CA closest to where you live) and ask to speak with the caseworker who handles IRS cases. You’ll have to fill out an information release form so they can talk to the IRS for you. This is the kind of case they handle all the time.

…Obamacare was also (finished) as a reconciliation bill. The House took the Senate bill only with a promise of certain fixes in a reconciliation bill that followed shortly after.

Wait this also happens to me literally every year. I get covid the weekend before new shots come out, and then wait months to get the new shot. Maybe I should do this…

We are a Friday household, and only our black bins got picked up on Friday. Left the blue and green out over the weekend, and yesterday, and still nothing. Will Friday routes be made up?

“You” was originally plural/formal-singular! “Thou” was the informal-singular. We’ve been using “singular you” for centuries, we can all learn “singular they.”

I’ve tried, they died. I don’t know if I picked the wrong plants, or didn’t know how to care for them, but I have tried at least a half dozen ground cover type things to replace grass in my yard and they die and get replaced with weeds. So instead of grass I have weeds. (North Virginia, 1950s house.

All-Clad Tri-Ply is my favorite, but any 18/10 stainless steel with a copper or aluminum bottom will work fine. (Tri-ply puts the aluminum between two layers of steel throughout the whole pan, which makes for fast and even heat throughout the pan, rather than just the bottom.)

Stainless steel. The only trick to remember is order of heating. Heat the pan, add fat and bring to temp, then add what you’re cooking. Don’t add food to a cold pan. Easier to clean than you think, and Barkeepers Friend a couple times a year takes care of stains.
