Bow Bridge, a Packhorse Bridge over Thorsgill Beck, next to Cotherstone Abbey. Probably a Tudor bridge built purely for packhorses, it dates from the 1600s and is a rare example of an early modern bridge of this type.

Demesnes corn mill. Built in the 1200s. It was the first water mill on the River Tees that used a natural weir. Rebuilt over the centuries it finally closed in 1934.
