ok i get it now... LOVE that these guys aren't the same, they have similar arcs personalities & desires as the og cast but are blatantly different in absolutely fascinating ways and i really can't wait to see what the rest of this season + next holds

dj flame can eat shit forever but i get it lol love how they curated the same feeling as FP leaving Finn.... yeah it sucked at the moment but now it's easier to see how that was for the best esp with them being older for this split

And what stinks is that, as an author, YOU FREQUENTLY LACK THE RESOURCES to effectively market your own book even if you want to. I don't mean financially, or with publisher contacts; I mean logistical info to which you're not privy, shareable PDFs of the completed post-design-and-edits book, etc.
THIS!! It's one thing to promote a small press title or a zine collection, but if I'm being published by a Big 5 publisher I shouldn't have to be their marketing and publicity employee.
It’s funny because promoting and marketing a book in any way, shape, or form is actually NOT the author’s job. At all. It is unpaid labor we’ve been forced to do for so long the expectation has mutated like a virus into “okay now you also have to be a TikTok sensation to do this as a job.”
