Actually, we went from everything's ok to stay inside and shelter, which is the highest warning. Lots of smoke and helicopters, and the occasional ash, but we can see blue sky.

The suit is mostly light coloured, except for the blue and really well vented. I only started to feel the heat at 36. But you cope.

From what I understand they're very competent and rugged. No idea if this thing would survive a fall.
