I am seeing a lot about who this platform is for.

Some seems to believe is for liberals

Some believe is for the extremes of the GOP

In reality is bluesky not designed to be a DECENTRALIZED platform for everyone?

We can’t “stop” communities from coming on

We can only build for the best

Giving the internet a choice in the matter of anything on your platform is basically the equivalent of giving a child 3 cups of coffee each with 12 sugars
I pour myself a cup of coffee. "computer. what are the users up to today?"

computer: "good morning paul. I've analyzed activity over the last six hours. they're fucking your shit up. absolutely pwning u. it's chaos on the app, youre so clowned lol"

20$ this don’t age well

Hopefully my post about this post not aging well don’t age well
This is what happens when a platform feels safer and more fun!

For years every morning the first thing I do is look out the window and see the bluesky above.

Now bluesky is still the first thing I see every morning

in pre-industrial societies, a marketplace or festival is where people from different cultures meet, share stories, flirt and debate

the basic rule of such a gathering is to lay down your arms at the gate

1. Who asked?
2. True - a dead ferret can still run
3. No it was just an attack on a nation’s capital for the purpose of overturning an election - should be called treason

I don’t agree with many of @mattyglesias.bsky.social content

I also agree with much of his work

No one deserves hate like this this

Especially journalists

We are better than this

We are better than twitter

Do better
Oftentimes I at least know what a given day’s controversy is about, but in this instance I have no idea what this person who claims to want to bludgeon me to death is even upset over.

Interesting idea

A blockchain that is plugged to the API of bluesky. It records every post, every like, and every repost.

A line of unbroken, unaltered, and uncensored truth of history

I know bluesky is staying away from crypto but I am thinking just a chain to record data - not to launch token
