Blue dot in very red rural EastTexas. Dallas cowboy fan currently wearing a paper bag over my head. Love my family, my pets, cruising, casinos....I guess in that order!!
people would overwhelmingly vote Blue. Then the election happened. I watched in horror as Trump declared victory. And i came to the gutwrenching realization that many of my team probably voted republican. Yes the artists, the immigrants, the POC that i KNEW were dems were not. I'm still not over it.

Last year I spoke over and over to my employees about the importance of voting. I encouraged them to take time off on election day to go vote. I spoke of the dangers of NOT voting, and the damage the RW planned to do if Trump was elected. I was so confident that my staff of young "progressive"
