Unfortunately, I don’t think we can call it a failed insurrection. We have an illegitimate president that should be in jail and a democracy that is quickly being replaced by autocracy. Last hope may be the midterms if they are even legitimate.

When DOGE began its Waste-Fraud-Abuse program earlier this year it was in fact initiating the elimination of programs that help people in favor of kick-starting Trump and his cronies' waste, fraud and abuse of our government and our country.

Billionaires are greedy and greed by its very nature will never regulate itself and will use its resources to fight any attempt at regulation. It will work hard to convince you that it’s in your interest not to regulate it. Greedy people can be beneficial but only if they are properly regulated.

ACA would be much better if GOP hadn’t undermined it from the very beginning. They have done everything they can to make it dysfunctional. GOP does not believe health care is a basic human right. Make them own that belief.

Among the many things that must be done to restore democracy is the structure of the Supreme Court including number of justices, selection/approval process, term limitations and ethics code. 2026 and 2028 elections may be our last chance. Dems must control legislative and executive branch.

It will be early December before they have the final vote to release the files. I doubt that we will ever see the full Epstein files and it’s likely not just Trump being protected. Suspect very rich and powerful people are pulling the strings here to protect themselves.

This is ridiculous. We all know you can’t trust the current GOP to even hold a vote let alone support extending ACA tax credits in the future. Plus people with real budgets have to make decisions now on their health insurance for next year. Vote NO until extension is part of deal!

Do not allow a deal without extending ACA tax credits. Be a leader and get your caucus in order. Otherwise, you are responsible for a shutdown that accomplished nothing.

Amongst the diverse group that were at the rally I attended were a whole lot of middle class, middle aged, white Christians that are standing against this authoritarian regime because they Love America. And you know that, they will Vote.

The Republican Party has never believed that health care is a human right and they manage to dodge owning that belief by diverting the conversation. They should be forced to admit clearly that they believe that health care is only for those that can afford it in a for profit system.
