Happily divorced from the GOP. Never means never.
The grift never ends, does it? "Look honey, I bought us some anti-abortion diapers! Sure they cost a fortune and leak and fall apart, but we're owning the Libs!"😂

Lol. Twitter is definitely starting to feel like TRS right before it fell.

Guys like him can't do real jobs. Their entire lives are wrapped up in titles and the perks of being "Senator", "Congressman", and "Mr. Secretary".

Running against Trump really broke him in 2016.

He and many others.

Can you imagine? He's going to have to make excuses for every crazy thing Trump does or says.

Just like last time.

Good point.

It's going to be a shit show, just like everything else in his first term.
November 11, 2024 at 5:24 PM
Yep. That's definitely happening, and I when I pointed that out, she said "Well, it will still be less than I was paying before vouchers". And the public school parents kept insisting that won't happen here, the other states just did it wrong. 🤷‍♀️

Oh I think he will attempt to. He'll make a big show out of it at first, but eventually the backlash will be strong and he will fold.

Give the people what they voted for. I had two conversations with public school parents who say that this won't affect their kid's schools at all and one who sends their kid to private school looking forward to squeezing a third summer vacation in thanks to not having to pay for school anymore.

What does it say about a political movement that they still feel like they lost even after they won?

How long do you think Trans athletes have competed in college sports? Is this a relatively new issue?
November 10, 2024 at 10:30 PM
It's like the people complaining about the price of eggs in their $800,000 homes with their $75,000 trucks parked in the driveway outside. I'll never understand it. The price of eggs won't break them. But tariffs might. 🤷‍♀️

You know I get in the trenches with MAGA. This is the #1 problem. I go back and forth with them until they begrudgingly admit reality- and then the next response is almost the same as their first detached from reality response. It's like a switch goes off screaming "Danger! Reality! Do not proceed!"

Last time the right just called it rigged and stolen, then had a violent pity party at the Capitol in which they attacked police officers, tried to hang the VP, and smeared their own feces on the walls of the Capitol.

I'm ok with a little hand wringing. It's healthier. 😂

And where were the commercials pointing out that if Trump had built his big beautiful wall that Mexico was paying for, immigration wouldn't be a problem? Or the commercials of him telling us to inject disinfectant while we were stuck in our homes? How about one mocking Promises Made, Promises Kept?
