Yes in my house, the tv is on all the time. At the same time, I have a book in my hand and have no idea what’s on the tv. You are putting people into categories they may not belong in just because they live in one place or another.

As an avid reader, I disagree. I want a description of the characters I’m reading about, are they tall, short, blond, black, bald? Is their skin pale, tanned, dark? What does their voice sound like? Any scars? I want a description as if you were giving the police a description of a murder.
