6. Some Police units in the US are certified EMT's in addition to being Officers. You see this with SWAT or small departments. I would have to Google it but at one point in time, I think it was White Horse? They were a PD where every Officer was an EMT. Something to think about

5. Lastly, I would like to discuss the idea of LE helping the military in specific circumstances. I know this is crazy for some people but it makes sense once you realize that depending on the country, some LE members are specialists, or Military reserve at the same time. One good example is EMT's

4. See is a study on Plate Carriers vs Kevlar Body armor. I think it will benefit both LE and the Military. I would like to also see more pistols that are not "Stryker". I think having the hammer external is good for safety purposes. An additional visual cue as to if the Firearm is ready to fire

3. This is partly why I am hopeful or encouraging the discussions regarding how EU will handle themselves in the absence of the US. It is because I think its the right thing for them to do but also some of those changes can help others whether they know it or not. That all said.. What I want to

2. It is also because whenever there is a change in the military, #LawEnforcement changes alongside that. This can be good or bad depending on the change. In my view, what is considered a good change is things like the body armor or martial arts. Body Armor for both the military and LE is not good

? I never hinted at or commented on State Laws. Congress is what created DHS which is why I said they are the ones responsible for abolishing it

Because most people I talk to are there. I have tried to ask people to come over here but they aren't finding many people to talk to. Partly due to that, I am on both platforms at the same time

Hello :) On lethal force.. There is the exception of "creating jeopardy" or "manufactured threat". We can be punished for that and should never put ourselves in a position where lethal force is the only option (anyways). Also, ICE has been failing their criminal background so immunity loop

Hello :) I think its having the opposite reaction. I see a lot heckling and lack of support on this over on X. I think the real answer to ICE is using Congress powers to Abolish it or change it. A lot of LEO's have shared their plans for how to do it
January 19, 2026 at 10:51 PM
Hello :) It is insane to me that Congress is allowing themselves to be blocked. They have the power. And they should use it given cases like this from last year www.kptv.com/2025/12/29/d...
Detention officer admits to sexually abusing detainee at ICE facility
The charge carries a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.

Hello :) And you have the support of those outside of the EU. There are a lot of individuals and think tanks attempting to formulate a good plan for the EU to move forward. I can only hope it helps or is listened to

Hello :) I understand the intent however.. As a formerly licensed peace officer, I don't think this is enough to hold ICE accountable. If I had a longer character limit, I would gladly explain why

Indeed. Min as well throw in Melania at that rate.. Slovenia

Hello :) I feel bad for making this joke but I sincerely think we need to bring back School House Rock. It was a 70's kids cartoon.. To educate on the US. I think that should be a requirement for DHS hiring

Hello :) As a multi national: I think it is sad at how fast people forgot their roots. We have close to 100% accurate numbers for immigration to the US, publically available. Canada is one of them but the largest for 1800's was Germans. More than Irish at the time
January 19, 2026 at 1:50 AM
Hello :) While I agree, I think people should also ask Congress to invoke their Article 2 power to either abolish, or get ICE in line. They will be out of control regardless of if Noem is there or not

Hello :) I read this and it was good. I am thankful Anna Bower made me aware of it (Bsky didn't). I can only hope this includes the perspective of Law Enforcement at a later time.. To show how easy it is to prove some of this
January 19, 2026 at 12:08 AM
4. Firearms. #LawEnforcement has used 9mm as their pistol caliber for a very long time. It is a versatile round but not good. It lacks the penetration power of say 10mm Auto or the new 6.5 CBJ. Using 9mm on a car is asking for fragmentation or ricochet. In a neighborhood, wreckless

3. As a violation of said policy or procedure. In some states this is legally known as "creating jeopardy" or "manufactured threat". Ross is both a War Vet and someone who was dragged by a car in a previous incident. He should of known better or learned from the past but he didn't. Last thing is

2. I am not a legal expert so I will just mention that this reminds me of a case.. Barnes v Felix. It happened in the state I once served. The next thing to look at is policies and procedures. This is a screen shot of #DHS 's which is same or similar to PD. Putting yourself infront of a car is seen

Hello :) Good share! Former licensed Peace Officer thoughts: It would be easy to prove that the use of force is not justified (as part of the immunity examination). I could point to Barnes v Felix, PD training, protocols and procdures. Oh and Ross was dragged by a car in a past incident
