What is the point of the tariffs? The administration is giving the farmers a “bale” out which is paid by Americans from tariffs paid, which if not implemented, could have avoided the bail out in the first place? Where is the 🤬 logic?

Had my first encounter with a MAGA customer today. After providing all documentation (cargo messages, tariff validation link) proving tariffs applied, he claimed other distributors said there weren’t any (same manufacturer). Needless to say, it’s COO CN product. Good luck buddy…🙄

New Vessel Fee structure: Raising costs to American consumers but making it less visible than a tariff. For non-Chinese owned & operated vessels - $18/net ton increase with $5 per year thru 2028. For Chinese vessels, regardless of shipping origin - $50/net ton with $30 increase per year thru 2028.

I took a PTO day due Trump’s 💩 show tariffs. Trying to manage the tariffs on top of tariffs. Unfortunately, I am a one person show for my division, I have to go to five different places to find an 🤬

I haven’t been impressed so far, but when @adamsmith.house.gov doesn’t show up to his own townhall, it only confirms his complicity in this mess. I am easily irritated by people who think their time is more valuable than mine.

Is it just me or does it feel like middle class perks are going away? While this doesn’t affect me, removing the de minimus on Chinese imports does. I miss Temu.

The US requires that Microsoft labels (licenses for downloading software) has a label HTS Code. Therefore Brazil could be paying a tariff on a $300 label.. Brazil need to separate the label vs the software. Who is right?

It amazes me how much people know nothing about shipping to other countries. Brazil is a pain-in-the-_____. It’s 60% taxes and duties. Cry me a river on this country…

Nothing like wanting to bitch-slap a European customer who tells you they want to “validate the validity of the tariff” percentage that you provided them. They also want a prognosis per product till the end of the year. I would be a multimillionaire if I knew that…

I can’t believe the BS that the media spews about tariffs. The supplier nor the seller are not going to absorb the tariff. If anything, the supplier will tack on the tariff to their resale value, then the supplier marks this up. I see this every single day!

THEY ALL GO TO DIFFERENT COUNTRIES. We learned that with the 301s.😡😡😡 For the industry that I am in, the only manufacturing that returned to the US was product that had to be TAA compliant.

A supplier wanted a PO for tariffs on a product that is exempt. I wonder if they expected us (me) to be naive. I wonder how much of this happens to customers who are.
