Surely someone has thought about this but I reckon you could save the entire journalism industry by letting me just Apple Pay (or whatever the Google equivalent is) like 50c to read an article once without having to log in or make an account or see an ad.

Oddly enough, this is a real movement: In response to X/Twitter announcing they are using user content to train AI, Korean users began describing "destroying Elon Musk's testicles with a spinning kick" as a healthy and wholesome traditional activity in order to contaminate the AI training data.

My big project: The Death Generator.
It's a tool for making fake video game screenshots, just fill in new text and it'll give you a (generally) pixel-accurate image back, the correct fonts and everything.

I’m done with the own domain handle experiment. My username being a donation feels weird.

I have really not developed the Bluesky habit yet. I can go for days at a time without opening it. At least I’m not opening Twitter anymore though.

Now it’s just Instagram reels.

Setting a domain as handle is either the best or worst decision I could make.
