Let’s put something very different into the field. Mald has to not play this deck, because it happening to him would be infinitely funnier than any other possibility.
ixhel discard - Commander (Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa)

14 on t4
22 on t5
28 on t6 combat 1
34 on t6 combat 2
40 on t6 combat 3

Total is 138 damage. If you’re the first player, that’s 138 damage before an opponent untap on their 5th turn.

Mirror mirror I cast generous gift on my copy of hive mind to force my opponents to trade permanents to ask: how does one give good deck advice to a friend when they ask for feedback?

I am now working on a Pako & Haldan list because of this.

Today’s BnR would’ve been fine if it came with a sufficient article. It’s an embarrassment that there was no reference to mystic forge combo or tamiyo in the legacy section of the BnR update. I hope UR Delver can rise up with its 65% WR vs forge (EW US) and heal the meta. Overall, I’m suspicious.

I’m glad we got something this time. Still disappointed by certain oversights in the BnR article, but new and stale will be better than old and stale for a time.

No, but it would if you controlled glorious anthem, I think.

Rograkh, because I think the Rograkh + Thrasios or Silas decks are better than blue farm.

How do you respect a strategy that counters your own archetypally without compromising what your deck does? Aka, what should a late game combo deck do to respect aggro, or aggro do vs the slightly bigger midrange?

Also, an overview of mana bases would be good. There’s a big difference between a desert cube and the mono red special, so how different mana (like DMU slow duals + land cyclers vs assorted topless tapped duals vs fetches + various types duals vs etc.) affects cube experience is a definite highlight

I’ve brewed (more than) my fair share of cubes, but I’ve always found that mechanical identity for colors slips past me in the process. Gameplay is still great, but I would like advice for making colors feel like they have an identity would be great.

Coincidentally, I was working on a food chain Karn lattice hybrid combo commander deck when this video entered my feed.
