I'm looking for some literature and struggling to know where to start!

I want to find literature that talks about who gets to decide how success and effectiveness are defined in policing, poss links to police discretion.

Thank you in advance!

There is absolutely no need for this, it also does away with consent unless the wearer asks every person in room before putting them on!

Using the 'text-to-speech' function to proofread my PhD thesis is a great idea, and really helps me spot all the tiny grammar errors. It does, however, mean that even before submitting my PhD, I'd have heard every word I wrote, and that's not so fun!

Let's also not forget that these decisions made by human oversight, especially in policing, are often made influenced by institutional racism, sexism, etc. While it might be increase surveillance for all, it's impact is far from proportional
“The use of this technology always involves human decision-making & oversight, ensuring that it is used lawfully, ethically, & in the public interest" Does human oversight really ensure that it’s ethical or is the safeguard rather contributing to more use of surveillance? www.bbc.com/news/article...
