To be clear, the connection to your ATProto account *is* OAuth, I just also have a higher-level user account in Sill that combines both your Bluesky and Mastodon accounts into one thing.

A year or so down the line, it's clear that Bluesky/ATProto has a much larger user base in Sill, and I should build ATProto-native account creation. I'm *also* going to have to update the OAuth scopes when permission sets drop, so I'm going to do that all at once.

I know. Here's what happened:

1. I implemented OAuth when the original draft came out in 2024. Wasn't confident yet.
2. Sill works with Bluesky and Mastodon, email is a primary feature, and you can't get an user's email from Mastodon. So I couldn't achieve account creation parity between the two.

Unfortunately I'm struggling to replicate the problem. Hey @bnewbold.net @matthieu.bsky.team, in what situations can this error appear if a user is attempting an OAuth login? This is working for the vast majority of people.
