I have a very clear memory of getting a tour of this fire station in Cub Scouts, and we must‘ve done it on a Sunday because I remember being anxious to get home to watch the Broncos play the Oilers. Just checked PFR and it was either October 6, 1991 or October 18, 1992. The human brain is so weird.

I married into TCU fandom which, as Married Into Fandoms go, I think, is pretty good. Nobody really dislikes them (everybody dislikes you, Baylor). Fans are chill. Pretty good at most sports. Cool logo/apparel to collect as a married bandwagoner. Anyway, bowl szn, go Frogs.

Sometimes I cosplay a 1980s Minor League Baseball executive. (Honestly I bought this maybe ten years ago on eBay? And I’ve literally never worn it before tonight because it doesn’t fit. It still doesn’t fit, but I went for it.) Great night at arguably the best place in Denver with the Kreckmans.
