I always thought of it as one of those lower tier channels that would air the last season of a show that was cancelled but already filmed, or second rate spinoffs of shows like Xena or Star Trek. Like UPN or The Hub. It’s very mid 90s, lazy Saturday afternoon coded.

Barbie and Oppenheimer might have been big on Netflix, but there wouldn’t be the synergistic Barbenheimer cultural phenomenon. No one is ironically anticipating double features on Netflix. Also, why buy WB if not to sell movie tickets? Is that not what WB does? They aren’t a streaming juggernaut.

It’s a bummer man, it feels like I’m shadow banned everywhere. It makes it really hard to get commissions.
